On Saturday, March 29, former Cumberland High School standout Cam Harthan’s current college team, the Marshall Thundering Herd, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Troy Trojans.

The game took place at Riddle Pace Field. This was their second matchup against the Trojans this season.

The Thundering Herd’s next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 30 at 1 p.m. at Riddle Pace Field against Troy Trojans.

Virginia issues emergency nutrition assistance during federal shutdown

Virginia will provide emergency nutrition assistance to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients in November, following Governor Glenn Youngkin’s declaration of a state of emergency.
