On Thursday, May 15, former Mecklenburg County High School standout Tori Powell’s current collegiate team the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets won 3-2 against the Alfred Saxons in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.
The game took place at Captains Park at 1:25 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Alfred Saxons in the tournament.
The Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 11 a.m. at Captains Park.
