Petersburg City government offices will be closed on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. The offices are set to reopen during normal business hours on Friday, June 20.

The Petersburg Area Transit Administrative offices and bus service, including Paratransit, will also not operate on this day.

However, the Farmer Street Pool will be accessible to the public from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm on June 19. It will close for a staff break between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Admission is free for all visitors.

The Dogwood Trace Golf Course plans to remain open during its usual business hours on Juneteenth.

Trash and recycling collections by Meridian Waste and CVWMA will continue as scheduled throughout the week of Juneteenth.
