Election Day will take place on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Polls in Petersburg will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters are required to bring identification or complete a form at the polling site.

All polling locations in the city are accessible for individuals with disabilities and seniors aged 65 or older. Each location offers designated parking spaces and provides a telephone number that voters can call if they need assistance. Election officials have noted that assistance may not be immediate, stating, “It is not a quick drive-thru service, we thank you in advance for your patience, someone will come out when available to assist.”

Voters can verify their polling location online at the Virginia Department of Elections website (https://www.elections.virginia.gov/casting-a-ballot/polling-place-lookup/) or by contacting the Petersburg Voter Registration office at 804-733-8071.

Officials also announced that the polling location for Ward 1 has changed from Blandford Academy to Lakemont Elementary at 51 Gibbons Avenue.
