The City of Petersburg has announced that the 2025 Summer Newsletter is now accessible online. The newsletter was recently mailed to all residents in Petersburg.
Residents who did not receive a copy can contact the city by emailing edickinson@petersburg-va.org. Additionally, physical copies are available at the Petersburg Public Library located at 201 W. Washington Street.
The Petersburg City Council is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at the Petersburg Public Library.
The Surry County Government Center closed unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 20th, due to an emergency issue with its HVAC system.
All City of Petersburg government offices will be closed on Monday, September 1 in observance of Labor Day.
