County of Charlotte recently issued the following announcement.
The second half of Fiscal Tax Year 2020-2021 real estate and personal property statements have been mailed. Failure to receive a bill does not relieve the taxpayer of any additional charges. If you have not received a statement, please contact the Treasurer’s office by calling (434) 542-5125. If the tax due date falls on Saturday or Sunday, taxes are due the next business day. Treasurer’s Office Hours 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
Tax due date is June 5, 2021
Since the tax deadline of June 5, 2021 falls on a Saturday, the Charlotte County Treasurer's Office will accept payments received or postmarked on June 7, 2021 as timely.
