County of Lunenburg issued the following announcement on Oct. 8
The County of Lunenburg is requesting bids for the trimming of several groups of trees at the Lunenburg County Airport. The subject trees are encroaching the aviation easement flight line. Trimming is necessary to meet approach regulations.
Proposals will be accepted, from qualified bidders with proof of liability insurance, until 10:00AM on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the County Administrator’s Office, 11413 Courthouse Road, Lunenburg, Virginia 23952. A more detailed list of trees with photos is available by contacting Tracy Gee at the County Administrator’s Office (434-696-2142). Bidders must be prepared to complete the work within 30 days from the date of award. A pre-bid meeting with the Airport Manager is available upon request.
The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bid process.
