Amelia County issued the following announcement on Nov. 19
The convenience centers will be closed on Thursday, November 25th, for the Thanksgiving holiday. The sites will open at 7:00 AM on Friday, November 26th and will close at 7:00 PM. The public access area of the Maplewood landfill will continue to be open 24 hours a day seven days a week for use by Amelia County citizens.
