County of Prince Edward issued the following announcement on Jan. 6
Prince Edward County, in coordination with the Town of Farmville, is ready to open a temporary warming center, if requested by residents who are still without power. At present, 320 customers in the County and Town are still without power. If you are without power, please call the Prince Edward County Department of Social Services at 434-392-3113 and ask for warming center assistance, and they will respond.
