Bon Secours Southern Virginia Medical Center issued the following announcement on March 4
U.S. Senator Mark Warner toured Bon Secours Rappahannock General Hospital (RGH) and participated in a roundtable on health care policy with hospital and community leaders.
Senator Warner is Virginia's Senior U.S. Senator, a former Governor of Virginia and the Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee. During the roundtable, the group discussed RGH's role in the community as a critical access hospital, COVID relief, the need for additional broadband investment in rural communities, telehealth and workforce development.
The visit culminated with the senator's tour of the RGH emergency department expansion. Thank you so much for visiting, Senator Warner!
