South Hill Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on March 11
Together with First Citizens Bank. Southside Mortgage and VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital we would like to give a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Park View High School April 2022 student of the month Jewel Fenwick.
Jewel is the daughter of Roger and Sarah Fenwick of LaCrosse, Virginia. Her teachers describe her as a phenomenal student, willing to step out of her comfort zone with assignments and people. They also describe her as an avid writer as her writing is outstanding, and she is always focused on the
topic at hand in her course. Jewel is currently a member of the Beta Club at Park View High School. She is an active member of her local church, Ephesus Baptist Church. In addition, Jewel enjoys spending time reading and painting. She is in the STEM program at the Governor School of Southside Virginia and plans on graduating and going to school to become an engineer.
