Red Hill's Annual Home Educators’ Living History Day is geared for children ages 8 to 10 years old, although children younger and older benefit and can participate in the hands-on experience of 18th-century life. Programs can rotate among spinning and weaving, blacksmithing, pottery, a walking tour, Colonial medicine, basket making, tin punching, and rope making. Families will be able to visit each station available at their leisure. Living History ends at 12:30 and families can eat their packed lunches on the grounds. After lunch, please feel free to walk the trails, visit the historic buildings again, or head home. Advance registration is required. Adults/Chaperones are $6/each, Children 4 and up are $5/each, and Children 3 and under are free, but tickets must still be reserved for them. Tickets are non-refundable. This is a rain or shine event. After purchasing tickets, a confirmation email will be sent to you. Please email info@redhill.org with any questions.
