Senior Grayson Ackaway (Virginia Beach) has been selected, and will participate, in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) 2022 Senior All-Star Games, sponsored by Dynamic, slated for Friday, May 27 at Providence College. He will be a member of the South team and will wear the No. 10 jersey.
Ackaway played a critical role for the defense this season, as he caused 13 turnovers, while scooping up 35 ground balls. The senior also scored two goals this year, with one coming in a one-point win over Catholic University in the Capital Classic in Washington, D.C. Ackaway's ability to enter the game and shut down the opponent's offensive was a big reason H-SC made a run to the ODAC Championship game.
Also selected to the game, but unable to participate are seniors Sean Duffy (Ambler, PA), Bobby Clagett (Brandywine, MD), Henry Hitt (Annapolis, MD) and Presley Miller (Annapolis, MD).
The DIII game will begin at 5:00 p.m. and the D I/II game will commence at 7:30 p.m. Both games will be live streamed by the Lax Sports Network at https://www.ftfnext.com/lsn.
