The fall schedule for the small college division has been released by the Cardinal Collegiate Rugby Conference (CCRC). The small college division includes Christendom, Christopher Newport, William and Mary, Washington and Lee, VMI, and Radford in division one and Emory and Henry, Hampden-Sydney, Longwood, Madison, Roanoke, and the University of Richmond in division two. The Tigers' schedule opens at Longwood on September 10 at 3:00 pm. Match play continues on the road on September 17 with a trip to Washington and Lee and a 1:00 pm start. The home opener for the Ruggers will be versus the University of Richmond on September 24 at 1:00 pm. The Tigers then return to the road for a match at Emory and Henry on October 15 at 1:00 pm. The regular season concludes with two matches at home. William and Mary will be the opponent on October 22 at 1:00 pm and the regular season will conclude on October 29 at 3:00 pm on the Ellis Rugby pitch vs Roanoke. October 29 will also be Homecoming for Hampden-Sydney.
The standings at the completion of the regular season will be the basis for seeding teams for play in the post-season conference tournament. The CCRC tourney champ will receive an automatic bid to the national tournament. This year's conference tourney will be held on November 5 and 6. Starting times and host locations have not yet been announced.
