Most County Offices Have Reopened
Most Charlotte County offices have reopened, but some services and facilities remain closed until damages are assessed, repairs made or storm-related operations end.
The following locations are open to the public:
- Charlotte County Administration Center, 18500 Murdock Circle, Port Charlotte
- Mac V. Horton West County Annex, 6868 San Casa Drive, Englewood
- South County Annex, 410 Taylor St., Punta Gorda
- Charlotte County Justice Center, 350 E. Marion Ave., Punta Gorda
- Charlotte County Historic Courthouse, 226 Taylor St., Punta Gorda
- E. Jay Carlson Community Development Building, 18400 Murdock Circle, Port Charlotte
- Human Services Department, 1050 Loveland Blvd., Port Charlotte
- Family Services Center, 21500 Gibralter Drive, Port Charlotte
- Public Works Department 7200 Florida St., Punta Gorda
- Public Safety Building, 26571 Airport Road, Punta Gorda
- Economic Development Office, 18501 Murdock Circle, Suite 302, Port Charlotte
Room B106 at the Administration Center is currently being used as an early voting location. Parking for early voting is designated with signs.

The mini-transfer facilities remain open for residents to drop off white goods, storm-related vegetive debris, and construction and demolition debris, 8 a.m.-6 p.m., daily.

The following Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office locations are open to the public:
- William H. Reilly Administration Building, 7474 Utilities Road, Punta Gorda, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., weekdays.
- Englewood District 1 Office, 11051 Willmington Blvd., Englewood, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., weekdays.
- District 2 Office, 992 Tamiami Trail, Suite A, Port Charlotte, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., weekdays.
- District 3 Office, 3110 Loveland Blvd., Port Charlotte, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., weekdays.
- District 4 Office, 7474 Utilities Road, Punta Gorda, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., weekdays.
The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Civil Process Unit, 350 E. Marion Ave., Punta Gorda, is open to the public, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., weekdays
The Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center, 75 Taylor St., Punta Gorda, is closed for events. It is being used as a FEMA assistance registration site until Nov. 5. It will be used for Election Day voting, Nov. 8. Events will resume Nov. 15.
