15.9% of Emporia city residents considered unemployed in 2021

Emporia city recorded an unemployment rate of 15.9% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 410 people out of the 5,761 living in Emporia city at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.
