2023-24 School Year Enrollment: 101 12th-grade students welcomed in Brunswick County schools

There were 101 12th-grade students enrolled in Brunswick County schools in the 2023-24 school year, 5.2% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Brunswick High School was the only school that welcomed 12th-grade students in the county.

Within Brunswick County schools, the largest number of students were found in 2nd-grade, while pre-kindergarten had the least students.

Statewide, Brunswick County ranked 109th in enrollment numbers. It was ranked 108th the year before.

As of November 2023, according to Public Schools Review, Virginia public schools saw an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:14, which is better than the national average of 1:15 in public schools nationwide.
