138 10th-grade students enrolled in Charlotte County schools in 2023-24 school year

There were 138 10th-grade students enrolled in Charlotte County schools in the 2023-24 school year, 36.6% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Randolph-Henry High School was the only school that welcomed 10th-grade students in the county.

Within Charlotte County schools, the largest number of students were found in 6th-grade, while pre-kindergarten had the least students.

Statewide, Charlotte County ranked 101st in enrollment numbers. It was ranked 103rd the year before.

As of November 2023, according to Public Schools Review, Virginia public schools saw an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:14, which is better than the national average of 1:15 in public schools nationwide.
