Tori Powell, former Mecklenburg County High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Thursday, May 29 in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Thursday, May 29, former Mecklenburg County High School standout Tori Powell’s current collegiate team the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets lost 0-8 against the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Inspiration Field at 11 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins in the tournament.

The Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets’ next game will take place on Friday, May 30 at 1:45 p.m. at Inspiration Field.
