Council Member Marlow Jones is scheduled to hold a Ward 1 meeting on Monday, August 25, 2025. The event will take place at 804 Skate City, located at 2793 S. Crater Road in Petersburg, Virginia, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
According to the announcement, topics set for discussion include issues related to Petersburg East and a proposed zoning amendment that would allow duplex construction in Ward 1’s Berkeley Manor neighborhood. The agenda also allows time for any other matters of local government concern that attendees may wish to address.
“This meeting is open to all citizens and property owners in Petersburg, regardless of Ward,” the notice states.
The meeting aims to provide an opportunity for residents and property owners throughout Petersburg to engage with their elected representative about current issues affecting their community.
