On Wednesday, April 2, former Amelia County High School standout Peyton Vaught’s current college team, the VMI Keydets, won 26-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Norfolk State Spartans.
The game took place at Marty L. Miller Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Spartans this season.
The Keydets’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. at Lamore Field at Gray-Minor Stadium against Mercer Bears.
