Brunswick County Schools recently issued the following announcement.
Attention BCPS Families | We are excited to have all of our students with us for in-person instruction five days a week for the 2021-22 school year. It is our intent to also provide a mobile hotspot to families needing access outside of the instructional day. Please note that our mobile hotspots will include CIPA compliant content filtering. This applies to the restricted access to applications, websites, streaming services, and content that are not being used for educational purposes.
We will distribute (1) mobile hotspot per household, by request only. As a reminder, if you did not return your division-assigned hotspot from the 2020-2021 school year, you will not be eligible to receive a new hotspot. In order to receive a mobile hotspot, please complete the form below. We ask that you list the names of all students that are currently enrolled in Brunswick County Public Schools that reside in your household that will use the assigned hotspot. Example: John Smith - Brunswick High School - Grade 10
After you have completed your submission, we will provide additional information on distribution dates and times. Please submit your request no later than Friday, August 27, 2021.
