Derrick Toombs has received the endorsement of RED PAC, a group that seeks to elect conservatives at the local level, in his run for the Board of Supervisors in Charlotte County during the Nov. 7 elections. Toombs earned the RED PAC endorsement based on his fiscal responsibility, commitments to conserve private property rights, advocacy for rural economic development, and commitment to government transparency.
Toombs is running for the Bacon/Saxe District seat on the Charlotte County Board of Supervisors as an Independent candidate. He has named educational opportunities for young people as his chief concern and his other objectives, should he win his election, include economic development.
In a release announcing the group's endorsement of Blowe, and other candidates throughout Virginia, Kevin Gardner, Executive Director of RED PAC said "these candidates embody core conservative principles. Their unwavering commitment to transparency, fiscal prudence, and local economic advancement will surely benefit their constituencies."
