There were five Asian students enrolled in Cumberland County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 16.7% less than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Cumberland County Public Schools District welcomed 1,233 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 0.4% of the student body to be the third least represented ethnicity in the school.

Cumberland County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Cumberland County and has a main office in Cumberland.

Among the three schools in Cumberland County Public Schools District, Cumberland High School and Cumberland Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2023-24 school year.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools have an average student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1, slightly better than the national average of 15:1. Minority students, primarily Hispanic and Black, make up 54% of the enrollment, while white students constitute 46%.
