How many Hawaiian students were enrolled in Mecklenburg County Public Schools District in 2023-24 school year?

There were two Hawaiian students enrolled in Mecklenburg County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Mecklenburg County Public Schools District welcomed 3,938 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Hawaiian students comprised 0.1% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the school.

Mecklenburg County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Mecklenburg County and has a main office in Boydton.

Among the six schools in Mecklenburg County Public Schools District, South Hill Elementary School and Mecklenburg High School welcomed only one Hawaiian student in the 2023-24 school year.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools have an average student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1, slightly better than the national average of 15:1. Minority students, primarily Hispanic and Black, make up 54% of the enrollment, while white students constitute 46%.
