There were 202 Hispanic students enrolled in Nottoway County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 18.8% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Nottoway County Public Schools District welcomed 1,818 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 11.1% of the student body to be the third most represented ethnicity in the school.

Nottoway County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Nottoway County and has a main office in Nottoway.

Among the five schools in Nottoway County Public Schools District, Nottoway High School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2023-24 school year.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools have an average student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1, slightly better than the national average of 15:1. Minority students, primarily Hispanic and Black, make up 54% of the enrollment, while white students constitute 46%.
