There were five American Indian students enrolled in Amelia County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 66.7% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Amelia County Public Schools District welcomed 1,606 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.3% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the school.

Amelia County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Amelia County and has a main office in Amelia.

Among the three schools in Amelia County Public Schools District, Amelia County High School recorded the highest enrollment of American Indian students in the 2023-24 school year.
