There were 537 students enrolled in Nottoway High School in 2023-24 school year

Nottoway High School had the highest enrollment among Nottoway County schools, welcoming 537 students during the 2023-24 school year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed at the time, 52% of them were female, and 47.9% were male.

The most represented ethnicity among Nottoway High School students was Black, accounting for 42.6% of the student population.

Among the five schools in Nottoway County, Crewe Primary School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 376 students, while Blackstone Primary School welcomed 373 students to be ranked third in the 2023-24 school year.

Nottoway High School is part of Nottoway County Public Schools District, which roughly covers schools within Nottoway County, with its main office in Crewe.

In the previous school year, Nottoway High School also had the highest number of students among Nottoway County schools.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools saw an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:14 in the 2023-24 school year, which is better than the national average of 1:15 in public schools.
