These tests will determine if students have been placed initially into the appropriate level of Rhetoric. Students should bring two pencils or pens.

If you are not bringing a vehicle to campus, students must fill out the online waiver form at HSC.edu, click on Current Students, then Living at H-SC, then Waive Parking Fee.

This session is designed to inform students of the risks associated with substance misuse, and strategies they may use to prevent harm in situations where alcohol is being consumed. Students will learn how to make better decisions based on a clear understanding putting health and safety first.
6 - 7 pm – MAN UP Against Sexual Misconduct
(Mandatory for New Students)
You will receive a Zoom invite at your hsc.edu email address.
Dr. Melissa Wood, Title IX and 504 Coordinator
This Title IX program provides a definition of rape and a definition of consent in reference to sexual activity. Man Up also provides safe and positive options for bystander intervention as well as information on risk reduction. The program frames sexual assault as a moral issue, deconstructs the impact of rape on the survivor and community, and debunks myths surrounding rape. Additionally, Man Up discusses the concepts of elimination, prevention, and remediation regarding sexual misconduct.
