There were 167 Hispanic students enrolled in Greensville County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 30.5% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Greensville County Public Schools District welcomed 2,027 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 8.2% of the student body to be the third most represented ethnicity in the school.

Greensville County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Emporia City and has a main office in Emporia.

Among the three schools in Greensville County Public Schools District, Greensville Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2023-24 school year.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools have an average student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1, slightly better than the national average of 15:1. Minority students, primarily Hispanic and Black, make up 54% of the enrollment, while white students constitute 46%.
