How many students were enrolled in Charlotte County Public Schools District in 2023-24 school year?

The only school district in Charlotte County had rising enrollment in the 2023-24 school year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

There were 1,705 students in Charlotte County Public Schools District, 2.2% more than the year before.

Enrollment in Charlotte County bucked the state's trend of decreasing enrollment.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2023-24 school year, 51.1% of them were male, and 48.9% were female.

Data also showed that most of the studets were white, representing 62.9% of Charlotte County Public Schools District's total enrollment.

Charlotte County Public Schools District has a main office in Charlotte Court House and is the only school district within Charlotte County.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools saw an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:14 in the 2023-24 school year, which is better than the national average of 1:15 in public schools.
